SNC AUS Aims to Grow; Develop Local Capability

By Ben Felton | Canberra | 23 January 2025. SNC AUS, US-based SNC’s newest subsidiary, was formally launched in November 2024 by its inaugural Managing Director, Josh Rooney. The company, based in Adelaide at Lot Fourteen, has ambitious plans for local and international growth.

The company is SNC’s second subsidiary in an AUKUS country following establishment of SNC Mission Systems UK in 2019.

Sierra Nevada Stands Up Australian Subsidiary

U.S.-based Sierra Nevada Company announced Nov. 20 it is creating a new subsidiary in Australia as the two nations are increasing defense cooperation. The new company, SNC AUS, will be based at Lot Fourteen, South Australia, and will focus its work on electronic warfare, digital grid and digital RF.
